Moreno Valley City Council · District 2

Let's Build a Safe City

Safety begins with better planning.

  • Staff the Sheriff and CAL FIRE for the size of city we are
  • Address homelessness with enforcement and real services
  • Safer streets, intersections, and parks

Traffic is out of hand, and truck routes run straight through residential streets. David wants infrastructure and truck routes fixed before any new development gets approved — not after. That includes keeping the Riverside County Sheriff's Department and CAL FIRE staffed for the city Moreno Valley actually is today.

2

Reduce Truck Traffic

A moratorium on new warehouses.

  • Pause new warehouse approvals
  • Bring in good-paying careers, not just distribution jobs
  • Enforce the new AB98 truck routes

David supports a pause on new warehouse and data center approvals until the roads are fixed to handle the traffic we already have. This isn't about fewer jobs. It's about better ones: career jobs, not just distribution jobs.

3

Give Moreno Valley Somewhere to Go

Moreno Valley gets warehouses and car washes. Other cities get destinations. Let's change that.

  • More places to shop, eat and work close to home
  • Protect neighborhoods, open space and quality of life
  • Represent the people who live here, period

Other cities are getting real destinations. Redlands just opened the Redlands Public Market downtown. David wants to recruit restaurants, retail, venues, and a public-market-style destination to Moreno Valley — and make sure new housing is designed with real driveways and parking, not an afterthought.

The Foundation Under All Three

Residents first.

"Residents deserve leaders who listen, who care, and who act."

Fiscal Responsibility

David's background in business and contracting means careful budgeting and long-term planning — decisions made in residents' interest, not under short-term pressure.

Neighborhood Quality of Life

District 2 residents get a real voice in decisions that affect their streets — heard before a project is already approved, not after.

Open Government

David has spent years speaking before City Council himself, for and against. He knows what it's like to not be heard, and he's committed to staying accessible, explaining his decisions, and treating public input with respect.

Safer Streets. Better Jobs. Places worth going. Residents first.

David is ready to bring that fight to Moreno Valley City Council District 2.
