No new warehouses.
Moreno Valley has done its share. It's time to stop approving more and start fixing what the last twenty years of warehouses left behind.

You sit behind these trucks on the freeway, at Perris, Heacock, and Day. You've watched them cut through neighborhoods that were never built for them. And there is more coming: the World Logistics Center alone is approved for 40.6 million square feet on the east side of the city. That traffic arrives whether or not the council approves one more building.
So why is City Hall still approving more?
What David will do
Vote no on new warehouses, and bring a moratorium to a vote.
California law lets a city council pause new approvals while it fixes its rules. Colton, Chino, Redlands, and Rialto have all done it. Moreno Valley hasn't. A moratorium takes four of five council votes. David will be the first.
Roads first.
No new warehouse or data center approvals until our roads can handle the traffic we already have.
Better jobs, not fewer.
This isn't anti-jobs. It's about careers, not just distribution jobs.
Why David
David serves on the Planning Commission. He has sat through the hearings, read the staff reports, and seen how these projects get approved. And he isn't funded by the people who profit from building them.
"We need growth that makes sense, and a council that listens to the residents, before the outsiders."
